You must have missed the “theme day” posts last night. I think I scrolled through two pages worth of title text.

Was very trippy and I even lived through that time. Had the album. Here is a good article on how far out they actually were.

I love the Moody Blues! I wish I had that record. I love my vinyl collection, but I try to get them only from second hand stores, but that one I may have to hit eBay for.

I had a water leak in my basement a few years back that ruined album cover and labels on about 1/4 of my 200+ pieces of vinyl. That was in the losses. It wasn’t a perfect record anymore. Too many parties had taken its toll. Back in the day I had my turntable hanging on eyeloops from the ceiling. We used to have keg parties and it was good to isolate vibrations from dancing. The downside is when it gets bumped and the tonearm bounces about dozen times, usually ruining the album and $50 Shure stylus. That album had huge bad sections on it anyway so no big loss.

That is a genius way to isolate it from skipping, but obviously it wasn’t in a very good spot to be hung. Sorry to hear about you flood. That sucks!
